WesternShooter’s David Kynoch Wins NRA Regional F Class Match

Deep Creek Range in Missoula, Montana was the location for the NRA Regional Long Range F Class Championships held the 24-26 of September 2010.  Montana, Utah, Oregon, Idaho, Wyoming and several other states all had shooters in attendance. Shooters competed at 800, 900, and 1000 yards over a 3 day period shooting at a target with an X ring of only 5 inches.

Western Shooter’s, David Kynoch, won the F-TR division with an aggregate of 1057-28x. That score put him 12 points ahead of 2nd place. It should also be noted that, Bob Evens , took 5th place in the same F-TR division and broke a long standing NRA world record for active military personnel in the Service division by 18 points. Bob’s F-TR aggregate was 1004-12x. He did this using an M24 and M118LR ammo.

David, Which bipod were you using when you won the Ftr class at the regional long range match?


I used a M. Werks LLC bipod. It was a prtotype that they have since put into production. The nice thing about this bipod is that it is easy to take on and off. You can read more about it here:
